US Climate Rankings — Hottest, Coldest, Rainiest Cities

National leaderboards over the largest US metros, built from the same 1991–2020 climate normals and all-time records behind the city climate pages. Each ranking sorts every metro by one measure — average high, average low, annual rainfall, the long-term warming trend, or the hottest day on record — and every city in the list links down to its full climate profile.

A windiest ranking needs reliable wind data the current climate dataset doesn’t yet carry (NOAA’s daily wind record is too sparse across these metros) — it’s a planned data extension, not faked here. The live leaderboards cover temperature, rainfall, snowfall, and the warming trend.
